Don't Buy Here, Horrible Customer Service. I wanted to buy a set of tires and had some questions. When I called, some new AI computer answered and when I asked to speak to someone it hung up on me. I called back and told the computer to have someone call me back. Two days later no one called. Needless to say, I won't ever buy from them again. I am a customer from the days of Big Mike on Bridge St., when customer service meant something. It is a shame how they are now treating their customers.
I had my car alignment done here first. The guys were good to speak with. Paid for the alignment was given a print out of the work performed. When I looked at the final results, the set up at the rear were out of range according to there work performed. Didn't ask for my money back. Nor would I go back. Don't know what the reason why the work performed was not done correctly. Would not recommend this shop unless you're a retired mechanic and knows if work was performed correctly.
I went to the Niagara Falls location based on a referral from my regular shop who did not have the right tire machine to mount 35 series tires without risking scratching to expensive rims. This part of the work at Niagara Tire was successful and why this is not a 1 star review - the rims weren't scratched. And the counter guys were nice and friendly which is the other reason this isn't a 1 star review. When I got the car back I drove it home about 45km. The car felt "funny", but I just chalked it up to the different tires. While driving I checked the pressures. Spec is 42psi cold... the right front was at 49psi, the left rear was 33psi. The others were within an OK range, but not where they should have been. And yes I have vehicle history that shows the pressures over time which I can export and share. I let a little air out immediately of the one and added to the other since I had more driving to do that day. Later in the evening I rebalanced all of them to ~42 psi cold where they have maintained over the weekend. This is simply unacceptable for a TIRE shop to put new tires on a car where two of the four were in the unsafe range. Thankfully I noticed and checked, but how many customers would just assume it's correct. Very very disappointed, and I will never return to this location. I have had good experiences in Welland though so I will go back there.
I went two days ago to get tire quote for our 2024 Lexus RX350. Spoke to Dave one of the rep. He said he will call me later. One day go by he did not call back. I called him next day to see what going on. He said he will get back shortly with quote. Another day go by no call no message. I call today and left him message but did not receive any call back. I think they should closed their business if they are not capable of providing a quote for tire infect their main business is selling tires. Such a disappointment (here we are trying to help our local business) what a shame. Mohammed
I was in recently helping my grandmother pick up her vehicle. There were a couple hiccups on our end but the staff were INCREDIBLY patient and kind as we figured it all out. The space was clean and tidy and staff even greeted us at the door! Shout out to Derrick and James for taking the time to help us out in a big way. They have definitely gained a new customer, I was so impressed!
Called to have my snow tires put on since there is no charge due to buying them from them for like $1600.00 to be told they are CHARGING this year cause business was slow .. how is that my problem why should i have to pay more when I already gave u lots of money and that service should be free like normal .. this will be the last transaction i will ever have with this company ... such a RIP OFF WOULD GIVE IT 0 STARS IF I COULD !!!!
I’m not really sure what’s going on with this shop. I have been dealing with them for over 25 years since they were on Bridge Street. In the past you could never get a parking spot in their lot because they were always so busy. The last couple of visits it has been like a ghost town with lots of empty parking spots and lots of empty work bays. Maybe it’s Covid but I have to wonder. Based soley on previous experiences 5 stars would have been selling them short but the last few visits have been underwhelming. I went in to have my tires rotated and within a month I looked and saw that the fronts were worn 1/2 way through the wear indicators and in dire need of replacement. Have they worn that much in a month? I don’t think so. Why would you send a customer out without indicating to them that the tread was low and the tires should likely be replaced? It’s not like you don’t want/need the business based on what I see in the parking lot and shop. Never mind Covid. I returned and requested that the tires be replaced and from past experiences Jim would speak with me and keep me informed of the status. He would have fought (and always did) with my lease company to replace all four. When the job was done this time I simply got the “it’s done” call and when I showed up to find mis-matched tires on the vehicle I was not very impressed. It honestly looks bad in my opinion. No input solicited from me if I was ok with only replacing 2 or even what tires I wanted installed. What happened to the leadership at the shop? Is big Mike still in charge? Who’s running the place? What happened to Jim whom I have bought at least 5 sets of tires through? I hope it’s only a Covid thing but I have to wonder.
