We had arranged for him to do the closing on a house we were purchasing. However with 2 weeks before closing date, we were informed he would be away & couldn't close leaving us scrambling for a new lawyer. He obviously has no concern for his clients. Good lawyer to avoid.
Had previously dealt with Mr. Mcdonald and had a very positive experience, however not today. I had arranged to have some work done and received a phone call advising me that he was going on holiday and couldnt do the deal. When asked if he didnt know he was going on holiday ( as he just came back from one ) and that I contacted them because he had previously done work for me, I was given no answer. Now I had to scramble to get a lawyer who could assist me last minute. Having worked in the financial sector my whole life, I find this to be very unprofessional and not the way a lawyer should behave. The least that they could have done was tell me sooner and not turn everything upside down and cause stress when it wasnt needed. Sadly I had planned to use Mr. Mcdonald for other legal matters, however that will not be the case and I wont recommend his services either.
