Had been in USA for close to 30 years, and this is our first visit to Canada side Niagara Falls. Tried out this restaurant the first day and the taste was so good that we ended up eating all our meals here for our entire stay.. The choices in the buffet are very decent, specially, the vegetarian choices. My son loved the non-veg items very much. The staff members are very courteous, always making sure to take care of the patrons. I have observed them for two days and four meals, and their service is consistent. I have also witnessed them handling demanding customers in a very professional manner.
Good location and tons of potential... Unfortunately the management is going to drive this place down... I've been here a few times and always leave disappointed... To the owners please go and eat at a few other restaurants and learn what customer service means... Last time I was there a waitress who was tired from being on her feet sat down in the dining hall and started to rub her feet. I understand being tired but there is a place and time for that....To anyone looking to buy a business that is under performing and has a load of potential please keep an eye on this restaurant or better yet make the owners an offer....
Hidden Gem! Traditional Home Style Cooking. Very tasty. Good buffet selection. Not fine dinning but rather a relaxed atmosphere, family friendly and Halal! Dont be put off by the look of the place. If you want some good Indian/Pakistani food this is the place to go. Service was good also.
Thought we would visit this restaurant based on some of the other (suspicious) reviews. We were seated at a table and then had a staff member come over and vacuum around our legs. We ordered from the menu for the kids and went with the buffet for my wife and I. The kids order was slow to be delivered so we gave them a portion of our meal in the interim since they were hungry. The owner or someone in authority called the waitress over and whispered to her to tell us that we were not allowed to share as per buffet "rules". Fair enough as this is standard but considering that we had ordered separately for the kids from their menu, I did not see this as "cheating" the restaurant. Once I finished my first round at the buffet I went back for something different only to find that they do not provide new plates and that you are to reuse your old plate. I guess they are selective about which buffet "rules" they follow. My sympathy to our waitress as she seemed to be the only one working while the "whisperer" and other staff sat around barking orders at her. Poor woman had to take the orders, deliver the food, answer the phone which kept ringing and act as cashier too. The food wasn't anything special either. I tried the "butter chicken" which is probably the easiest Indian dish to make today and have to say you could do much much better than the cheapest store bought sauce. The chicken tikka pieces looked leathery as though they had been sitting under a heat lamp for some time. They did however get the plain white rice right (rice cooker perhaps?). My wife ordered a tea from the "whisperer" as she walked by. I guess that was not part of her job description as I have never seen any thing delivered at a restaurant with such indifference.
My request: Please AVOID eating here. Instead, eat Papa Johns Pizza that is next door. Service at this Indian restaurant, at best, was average. We were served food that was NOT fully cooked. The chef gave an excuse, then we were asked to eat something based on the chef's decision and not based on our preference. And guess what, they even asked us to pay for the food that was not cooked properly. We could hear the chef yelling at an employee. Very arrogant chef.
