I went to this breakfast spot as it had good reviews. At first glance when I walked in it left a bit to be desired visually. skeptical I sat for breakfast, and I'm so glad I did. Food was fast, hot and delicious. I ordered eggs benny which came perfectly poached and had a piece of cheese melted on it. YUMMM, with the perfect amount of sauce to share with my delicious homefries Service was pleasant and attentive and the price was the best surprise to this small delightful breakfast spot.
Definitely worth a visit! The price was amazing for the portions you got. My boyfriend and I spent $29 after tax for both of us and we each got our own meals in addition to some giant pancakes. The waitress was super nice and made sure we were well taken care of the whole time. There weren't any empty seats the whole time we were there which says a lot. The home fries were crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and the omelette was huge and loaded with cheese.
Great food, large portions and amazing service. Thank you for accommodating our large group on a busy Sunday brunch! Will visit again.
This place was okay. It was so busy and hectic and there were so many issues in the kitchen this morning. My husbands pancakes were burnt as you can see from the picture. I asked for two eggs over hard but they arrived over easy. I had to send them back. The food was okay, the service was nice, but the waitress was overwhelmed and forgot to refill my coffee, so I didnt have a drink the entire meal. Overall it wasnt the best experience so we wont be coming back.
Dropped by for brunch on the way back to Toronto, and Im really happy we did. Small homey place you could easily miss if you dont know what to look for. Limited parking spots... but its surrounded by big plazas that you can park at and walk over. While this diner doesnt serve anything that may particularly stand out, they nail the basics you expect and love from a breakfast/brunch spot very well. Their pancakes were the highlight for me with how fluffy and delicious they were. Definitely worth the order. They also serve mushrooms on some dishes and wow they were an unexpected treat. Portion per price is most likely the best Ive seen anywhere in Canada. If anything its underpriced for what theyre serving. $9.49 for a decently sized breakfast plate that would cost AT LEAST $12.99 anywhere else. I almost felt like I was robbing the place with the amount I was paying! Definitely worth coming, especially for big city dwellers where many brunch spots are overpriced for what they sell.
