The food selection is very good.The prepared food is insanely good.This store is known for its pizzas and to be honest it betters it rivals any pizza parlour in Niagara.The staff are very friendly.The service is wonderful. The management are proactive. They can be seen on the floor and working. Involvement differentiates a great run store from a poorly run one.This one is excellently run.
I love certain things about this store but don't like others. I am on a specific diet so I began coming here for health foods and certain foods I can't find elsewhere and I think that it's great that they have stuff I can't find at other stores. They have a great selection of meats in the deli and cheeses as well although the lighting on there meat is the worst. I dislike how expensive it can get buying things there and sometimes you are looking for a simple item that is common and they just don't have it. I don't mind paying more for the select food items that are hard to find but their produce and meat is sometimes over priced and I find I have to go to a different store to get deals. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.
Fresh produce, looks like the emphasis is put on local produce as much as possible which I love. They have a nice assortment of specialty items. Always find what I am looking for.
I asked the meatcutter if he would cut some fat off a roast for me... There was literally an inch and a half of fat on some parts, and about an inch on the rest. He said "No. I can't touch it." I told him that much fat wasn't allowed on meat and an inspector would pull it from the shelf. He smirked, shrugged his shoulders and said No I'm not going to. See, I've been a butcher for 14 years. As far as meat department regulations go, it's not allowed. He was so incredibly rude to me. I won't be going back. Perhaps a call to an inspector is in order.
I love this grocery store! I go to the Niagara region most weekends with my family. We often go to Commisso's to purchase our groceries for the weekend. The store is always incredibly clean and the produce is fresh, and of the best quality.The store has a fantastic cured meat counter, wonderful cheeses and the best fish store in all of the region and wonderful Italian gourmet products. If you are looking for a good quality grocery store, that would rival any New York City quality grocer, than this is a place you will love.They have a fresh food counter for lunch, and I promise you that you will not be disappointed. Lastly, their staff are all very well trained, and helpful whenever you have questions. They go out of their way to be of service.
