Great place. It's smaller then a Lowe's or Home Depot but they do have alot here. The staff is always pleasant and informative.
I love Gui's Grand Island Ace Hardware Store. The personnel are helpful and 9 times out of ten I fill my needs without a trip off Island. I got the neatest fader switch for my kitchen, You set it for the level you want and it returns the light level you want every time you turn it on, too cool. Bill
Gui's lumber is a great place. I've bought alot of lumber and other items from them through out the years. Very reasonably priced and friendly helpful people there.
Its not an ACE Hardware, its Guis Lumber! They refuse to allow the 2 entities to be 1. They choose to not honor any ACE promotions in the lumber department. Imagine Home Depot, Valu Home Centers, or Lowes not honoring their own coupons. No one would shop there, just like I won't shop at Guis.
