Beautiful park lovely trails a good size dog friendly area. Outdoor theatre stages concession buildings large pond at the base great for walking. Firemans is truly a wonderful spectacle filled with wonder and awe you could honestly explore the place for a couple days and still find something new. I dont recommend going in the middle of the night but it adds a whole other experience...
A small dog park with a nice area to walk around if you're just looking for a stroll. There are two separated areas for small / larger dogs. Events are hosted here every so often (such as carnivals, short races, etc) and there are a couple canopies on the property for protection against the elements. There's also a small playground area for children.
Dog park, bandshell, Bruce Trail, picnic area and more. Dogs should be on a leash - coyote citings... And sir, your aggressive dog should at least be wearing a collar.
I Love Thursday night's. Steve Burnside does an awesome job organizing the talent for Thursday night's 2hr of mainly Blues music. The park is well maintained. Fresh cooked food and adult beverages are a pleasant addition. SMOKE FREE park but sometimes there's jerk(s) who has to wreck it for the upper level people. This a pass the bucket night but every cent goes towards maintaining the park and facility.Thanks to volunteer too. Great place and great times.
This park features a large playground for children, walking trails, huge field for outside activities, two fenced off-leash "yards" and a multitude of summer events! I love walking here! Well maintained and very safe.
