I was with my wife and a friend of my wife’s, from Peru, visiting Niagara Falls, showing my wife’s friend all the attractions of Niagara Falls. During our trip to the Butterfly Conservatory the brakes on the car started putting out a grinding sound, like gravel was stuck in the brakes, every time I went to stop the car. Wanting to check this out I stopped in Niagara Auto Electric & Complete Service Centre, but they couldn’t even look at it until the next day. That didn’t work for me as I had to be home the next day, in Ottawa, for work. Just down the street from Niagara Auto Electric & Complete Service Centre was Oakdale Auto Service. I stopped in there, and am I glad I did. We explained our situation and they were very glad to take a look at it and, at least, diagnose it for us. The staff here, from the boss on down, were very friendly and welcoming. They got the car up on the stand and showed me what was wrong. It turned out that I needed new brake pads and rotors for the back brakes, and that it was not recommended that we drive home with the brakes that we had (the boss even showed me the rotors, and where they were cut). We negotiated a price and they were very nice to make sure that we were comfortable while the brakes were fixed. A few hours later we were back on our way. I told my wife that because of our experience with Oakdale Auto Service, that if we were living in Niagara Falls,Oakdale Auto Service would get 100% of our automotive business.
Oakdale Auto Service (Darsh) literally saved my life! When my car, indicated that I needed coolant, I quickly pulled off the road. As an 86 yr old stranded in sub-zero temperatures, with CAA not available for 3 hrs, I thought I was doomed. A stranger then informed me that down the street and around the corner was Darsh, who immediately attended to my need, efficiently and pleasantly. I will forever be indebted to Darsh and the service he provided at a time of great need. Thank you, Darsh.

What stood out the most was their honesty and fair pricing—no feeling of being overcharged or taken advantage of, which is so refreshing. They got the job done efficiently and with great quality. I trust Darsh and Hassan (sp?) to always give me the advice and service that they would to their family. When I ask for advice they will try to save me money and yet fix what is needed. My Dad’s experience with them, they quoted a part and then couldn’t get it locally. When they had to source it from elsewhere, it was less expensive and they passed on the savings. Truly, a customer service mentality which is refreshing these days.
This mechanic shop is the best!!! I had problems with my car for almost 1 year. I kept taking it to my local mechanic and spent over $1500 but the problem kept coming back. My cousin recommended OAKDALE AUTO SERVICE and after one visit the mechanic found the root of the problem and fixed it. Amazing service and they are very friendly. The prices are really good also. Much less than the other shops that I called.
