This hotel RUINED my wedding. Their arch dome ceiling leaked all over my wedding dress and my husbands rented suit which was not dealt with when front desk was approached. The manager Jennifer is unable to deal with high stress situations and ran crying back to her office leaving me to deal with my own problems. They sent my mother up and down two elevators, eight separate times before telling her they had a problem with the key cards ultimately causing her to miss my wedding and have a mental breakdown. When front desk was approached to help my grandmother who had basically collapsed in their restaurant, not one person offered any help let alone something to help her out. The rooms are tiny and outdated and certainly not that pictures they advertise the rooms as. We spent over $10000 staying with the Crowne plaza to have them ruin my wedding and then give me a $200 discount was a slap in the face. They should be able to keep that hotel pristine with the insane Promotional fees and resort fees. all your money is going into cooperates pocket and they clearly dont care if you have a bad experience or ruin something as irreplaceable as a wedding. I will never be able to get back that day and this hotel is to blame for the awful time.
The room was small but clean and comfortable.Hotel is a little dated and can use some updating like carpets and pool area. The staff were friendly, especially housekeeping. A little more attention to detail should have been paid to billing. I was overcharged for the promotional spa package that I purchased. The front desk staff was able to fix it after bringing it to her attention.
Stayed for 1 night, was one of the best hotel experiences I've had. Booked last minute at a very reasonable rate. The room was small (was told they don't normally sell these rooms) but clean and the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable with both firm and soft pillows available on the bed. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and bent over backward to make sure you were satisfied with your stay. Parking here is on the expensive side ($35) but you have to pay for parking no matter where you go in this area. Not sure what the fallsview side would be like, my room faced the parking garage. Would definitely recommend the hotel!
Nice Historic hotel with a view of the falls. Love the architecture. The rooms were small compared to modern hotels. Not a lot of space for kids to move around or to store luggage/ toiletries. But the rooms were very clean and always stocked with towels. The Housekeepers were great! We had some trouble with our room rate being substantially higher than what we booked it for on the booking site. I had the print out. The desk clerk told me it was because taxes, other fees, resort fees, & parking were not included. But on my print out it said taxes & fees were included & the only fee not included that would be charged at the hotel would be the resort fee & parking. The desk clerk was not very friendly or willing to work with us to figure this out.
Amazing view. Rich history.Circa Marilyn Monroe 1952.Romantic charms.Beds comfortable..Lots of great places within the boundaries of the walls from Hershey's, Starbucks and a massive water park.Parking is not great so use valet for extra little amount.I was disappointed when a bell hop wouldn't let me have access to a luggage cart without his assistance which I found somewhat sketchy.It did leave a bad taste.The Steakhouse on 1Oth floor has great views but the buffet for breakfast was below my expectations for the costs.
