We had a very good experience staying at Rodeway Inn. The room attendant, Justine, was very very friendly. She went out of the way to help us with whatever we needed. Thank you Justine! The rooms were decent enough for the price we paid and the location is just 10 min walk to the American falls and 15 min walk to Niagara falls. Light into the rooms was plentiful. The one thing that hotel could make standard for all the rooms are a microwave and a mini fridge.Another thing that I request management to think about is the parking charge. Why would a hotel charge for the parking when the only people that park on their lot are the visitors? And it is not in a completely prime location or in a big city downtown. The next stay for us was Ramada which is even further down and they charged us even more, which is ridiculous. Overall, we liked Rodeway much much better. We will not think twice to stay there again if given a choice.
Great location for a low cost hotel. Our room was a 1/3 the price of the hotels closer to the falls. Room was very large. It was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Good air conditioning unit. E-Z parking but there is a cost of $15 per day to park your car. very nice outdoor swimming pool. Very quiet location and we could not hear any noise from other rooms. No elevator so you need to walk to second or third floor. Nice breakfast but it is not free. Within 2 blocks were breakfast buffets restaurants for $6 bucks. I will use this hotel again.
Nice, reasonably priced place to stay where you can park near your room and get in and out easily. If you are looking for a high price room with a view of the falls in the middle of the action, this is not for you. The hotel is not new and there are no microwaves or fridges in the rooms, but the rooms are clean and well maintained. If you are looking for a reasonably priced clean room on the quiet end of the street but within easy walking distance of Niagara Falls access, this is the hotel for you. Breakfast is not free, but very reasonably priced, hot, and served quickly. Janet will keep your coffee cup full while you plan your day of sight seeing. Amy, at the front desk will give you all the info you need to make sure you navigate the city efficiently and see the beautiful sights of the area. And when you return to the hotel after a day of fun, you can sit outside in the quaint courtyard, talk with your neighbors, and start planning tomorrow's adventure.
This place is old. Everything in the rooms (except the TV, but including the A/C) is old and there is no way you cannot not see this. The good side is: It is within walking distance of the Falls and all major attractions on the Canadian side and close to the Falls Incline Railway which offers a quick transport to the scenic boulevard and visitor center. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms itself were more (easy to clean surfaces) or less (not so easy to clean stuff like the shower curtain) clean. There is a small outdoor pool and a nice Italian family restaurant on site.Nevertheless I wouldn't recommend this place for a longer stay unless the price is really good.
Outdated, but incredibly clean rooms! All staff was very friendly and helpful. Internet worked well throughout the whole stay. Very happy with the price paid, would defiantly recommend! Only suggestion: longer pool hours. Pool closes at 9.
