Great experience! Didn't use any of the amenities but the shuttle service to sister locations. The shuttle service worked out for us to get to the casino. The adjoining rooms we booked were clean and comfortable for everyone! Definitely stay here again
The room was average at best. Depending on your bed preference, you may hate the mattress as it was on the firm side. The tub was clogged and it took awhile to get fixed. The best part was the staff as they were very friendly. As for the parking, it's 20$ a day. Seems like how everywhere is around here so I can't say if that ridiculous. The biggest issue I had with the place was it's location because of it's name. It's called the Fallsview and you're nowhere near able to see the falls. Stupid me for not looking at a map first. The hotel is somewhat close but too far to walk to downtown so not only are you paying them 20$ a day, but you're paying for parking anytime you want to do anything downtown.
Friendly and clean. Everything in my room and around the hotel worked and was maintained. Only 2 issues we had were: #1 - No view of the falls from room (I was on 3rd floor but I doubt even the upper floors can see). #2 - Parking seemed a little expensive ($20 CAD per night). But overall - nice place and we enjoyed the stay.
Hotel is very basic. There are no extras. The entire hotel needs to be updated. Room wasnt ready when we came to check in. Theres a bad smell when you walk into the pool area (most likely from the carpet being wet all the time). They were always out of pool towels. Indoor pool is small. Beds were uncomfortable. Hotel wasnt very clean. Bathroom wall had mildew/ mold in it. Was charged 18$ for parking each day when there were public lots that charged less. About a 20 minute walk to the falls (if you have kids, bring a stroller- lots of hills). Name is deceiving considered Fallsview area but can not see the falls from the hotel. Would not stay here again. A lot of better and nicer hotels in the area for the same price. The only reason Im giving a star is because the staff were nice.
This hotel has 4-5 rooms basically in the lobby overlooking the parking lot. We were lucky enough to get a lobby room next to the elevator and a main entrance. When we entered our room and closed the door, we could hear cars pulling in, elevator noise, doors opening and closing, people talking (the lobby was crowded all night from what I could tell), and sounds from the lobby arcade games, all at once. The fact that they charge good money for this room is disgusting. Including parking, we paid over $260 to stay one night over Thanksgiving weekend, and we weren't given any amount of silence or privacy. We asked if we could switch rooms, and were told there was one room left and we could take it. The second room was okay. We went for a walk and discovered the Falls were much further than we thought. You might be able to see the Falls from the roof while jumping on a trampoline.Just understand if you book this hotel, there's a chance you'll be sleeping in the lobby with multiple sounds coming from all directions, no matter how much you pay.
