Very Nice hotel. Rooms are big size with 2 double beds and a pull out couch, perfect fit for our family of 5. We were in the 5th floor (505) and from our room we could see the fireworks every night. Walking distance to all the attractions. Free continental breakfast(pastries, toast, bagels)but not the greatest coffee, you have a Starbucks across the street, if you are a coffee lover. You have a Dennis next door, if you are looking for something bigger. You pay for parking $12 a day, which is not expensive considering you can walk everywhere from there. Parking rates around the attractions are like $15 a max of 8 hours on a weekday and $25 on the weekends.
Close to Clifton Hill. Rooms are a bit out dated but bathrooms are clean. Parking a little expensive at $12 dollars per night. As stated on the website, there was free breakfast and was one of the reasons why we chose this hotel, very disappointing to see that this was less then a continental breakfast. And there was a tip jar in the breakfast eating area, not sure why tips are expected as it was only cereal, yogurt, fruit and bagels. Based on that, it was not worth the price we paid consider there were other hotels offering full breakfast for the sale price. My standards are high and this place did not meet my expectations.I will not come back here again.
Everything was excellent, very very happy. The staff was amazing and jumped to help with any request, smiles everywhere (but not overbearing at all), very clean, loved the pool, sauna and hot tub. All you can eat breakfast was super nice. Able to fill up and save on lunch. Beds were comfortable. (Computer available for guests, ) Would recommend this for families, groups, singles.
We stayed at this hotel and were very disappointed. The only good thing about this hotel was the location, close to Clifton Hill and 10 minute walk to the Casino. The hotel is old and dirty. The carpets in the room were disgusting. There were not enough plugs to plug in our phones or computer. Wifii was very slow and would not connect to any websites. Bathroom was old, the wall heater was old and rusted. The bathroom fan did not work, bathroom door did not lock. The wallpaper was coming off the walls. No fridge in the room. Noisy hotel, could hear the person in the bathroom next to us doing their business. Room had a funny smell to it. Breakfast was only bagels and cereal. The lineup for the breakfast room was awful. they need to put in another toaster. People were crammed in like ants. I asked staff for another room and they said they were booked solid and would not move us. Dont waste your money at this hotel, spend the extra money and go to a nicer hotel. Hotel needs a total revamp. Never again!!
Location is perfect. Very close to a lot of stores. You can get all kinds of food nearby and plenty of souvenir stores nearby. Stay is very friendly. Good service. Breakfast is basic continental. Normally eggs are served but didn't see any. Very crowded too. Rooms are good. Bed was comfortable. Fan in the bathroom didn't work. Other than that well maintained. Parking is difficult. Very few spaces next to the hotel. You will end up parking across the street which is not that close. You still end up paying the same rate for parking. There should be a higher rate for parking close or reduced rate for parking far.
