Best Hotel ever! Breathtaking views of the Falls! Wonderful staff and first class amenities! A super evening reception and a world class breakfast! The rooms are beautiful and squeaky clean! FAST check in.....need I say more?? Highly recommend!
If I could give the customer service less than one star I would. The duty manager David at the Embassy Suites in Niagara Falls should not work in customer service or hospitality. We were transferred to this hotel which we have stayed at many times. When we asked to speak to a manager David appeared already looking irritated. We explained that the other hotel messed up our reservations and the parking attendant was yelling at us when trying to enter. He proceeded to tell us we didn't have to stay with them. Told us he was reversing our payment and cancelling our reservation. We asked to speak to the manager above him and he smirk "she is not here til Monday". Then told us to leave. We then walked out and spoke to someone who said there was a manager with David. We proceed to walk back in and when we asked to speak with him David came back out and told us to get off of the property and security was being called. In my 40 plus years I have never been treated like this. Our anniversary was ruined. I will make sure that David and other inconsiderate people like him look for a career that doesn't involve interaction with people. I called Hilton Honors and Jennifer was very helpful. She was able to help us try and salvage our anniversary. Do not stay at Embassy suites in Niagara. Awful service. I suggest the Hilton on Fall views blvd. Amazing service and spectacular hotel.
We have only very positive remarks about this hotel. From the moment we pulled up, The valet thoroughly explained the parking, which for us included off site parking. When we wanted our car, a shuttle would take us to the secure lot, which is about a 3 minute drive from the hotel, and when we were finished with our car, we would return the car to the hotel and it would be re-parked for us. Each time we wanted to use the car, there was either a shuttle waiting or one about 3 min away. Extremely convenient. The valet, Dennis, was also extremely helpful in telling us how to proceed and about some local info we asked of him. When checking in, I realized I had left my cell phone in the car and began to panic. A porter saw me in the hallway, assured me that all would be well, and personally took me to the valet to see if it had been spotted. I had my phone back in my hand within 5 min. The hotel has tour packages you can purchase, which I recommend because you then skip the lines for the most part and learn so much more about the local area from the local tour guide. Everything about our room was pristine. Although the hotel is busy, it is very well organized and if you find yourself in a line, it moves quickly. We will definitely be staying here again!! You pay for the location. The view is amazing and the room was bigger than necessary. Otherwise though, the hotel itself was just okay. For the amount of elevators, it was frustratingly slow. The breakfast should have been better. The omelette bar was worthwhile, but the regular scrambled eggs had no flavor. They were basically gritty water chunks. Not very good.
We had a GREAT time at Embassy Suites Niagara Falls. We were there September 10-16. Our room received meticulous cleaning. We were always restocked with possible needs. The view needless to say was AMAZING day and night! We wanted to comment about a couple of your employees. The front desk was always helpful and treated us with much respect. We live in SC and had to extend our stay due to flight changes with the hurricane. The hotel was most helpful. We wanted to thank Noah for all the amazing greetings and care as he operated elevators and assisted guest going and coming. We wanted to give a thanks to Troy at the front of the hotel with assisting us with our departure. He was amazing at how much he was keeping up with and assisting loading and unloading. Great personality to be in the front of your Hotel. Thanks again for a great week!
